Best Western Phangan Buri Resort (formerly Phangan Buri Resort) is located on Had Rin Nai, the quiet and serene sunset beach on the southern side of Had Rin town; where all the action is just five minutes walk away at the infamous party beach Had Rin Nok, yet far enough from the resort to ensure you get a good nights sleep!

Best Western Phangan Buri Resort has recently been refurbished and is finished to excellent standards; with a beachfront swimming pool, fully landscaped tropical gardens and an amazing sunset view. All of our buildings are either new or have been completely renovated to ensure that your stay here is as comfortable as possible.

The beach at Had Rin Nai (west) is one of three white sand beaches that lie on the west coast of the Had Rin peninsula. Here the occasional mangrove populates the coastline and the beaches take on a dreamy deserted feel, perfect for secluded sunbathing and sunset strolls.

Tall coconut palms lean into the tranquil bay that is protected by a live coral reef; here divers and snorkellers can find a wonderful variety of sea life and mesmerising corals, whilst sun worshipers can find solitude and peace away from the crowds at Had Rin.

Had Rin Nai is far quieter than its counter part, with no clubs, a few chilled beach bars and plenty of great places to eat. It is also in an excellent position to explore the other beaches on the Had Rin Peninsula; with the long bays of Ao Bangson, Ao Hin-Lor and Had Seekantang all on the sunset west coast; and of course Had Rin Nok - the Mecca for sunbathers, beach-sports and nightclubs just five minutes walk away on the east coast.

There are three different types of immaculately clean bungalow with a range of sleeping options to suit most requirements. All of our older style bungalows have been refurbished to include air-con and hot water and are available for very reasonable prices.

The health spa at Phangan Buri offers a whole range of therapies and massage techniques in scenic, comfortable and relaxing surroundings. Our professional staff are all highly trained and have been selected due to their special talents; with experts in aromatherapy, massage, beauty treatment and herbal health remedies.

The poolside restaurant commands wonderful views over the island of Samui and is open plan to ensure you get the most out of the fantastic surroundings. We serve everything from traditional Thai dishes to imported steak and pizzas, all cooked to perfection by our professional kitchen staff. We also have a vast range of cocktails and fresh beer on tap at our beachfront bar.

In the centre of the resort you'll find a relaxing retreat space called the Tamarind Tree Terrace, ideal for taking a Thai style meal or escaping the mid day sun. Or if you're looking to top up your tan, there are sun loungers dotted along the wide beachfront area in front of Phangan Buri.

ACCOMMODATION:

At Best Western Phangan Buri Resort there are over 35 immaculately clean bungalows in three different styles to choose from; each with en-suite bathroom, air-con, hot water shower, private balcony and a range of options to suit most requirements. All of the older style bungalows have been refurbished to include air-con and hot water and are available for very reasonable prices. The more newer Superior and Deluxe rooms are spaciously designed and decorated to a high standard - all come with large furnished balconies and tiled fitted Western bathrooms.

LOCATION:

Best Western Phangan Buri Resort is located on Haad Rin Nai which is one of three white sand beaches that lie on the East coast of the Haad Rin peninsula. Haad Rin Nai is far quieter than its counter part, with no clubs, a few chilled beach bars and plenty of great places to eat. It is also in an excellent position to explore the other beaches on the Haad Rin Peninsula; with the long bays of Ao Bangson, Ao Hin-Lor and Had Seekantang all on the sunset West coast

From Suratthani you will arrive at the main port town of Thongsala. Phangan Buri Resort is about 20 minutes drive from Thongsala; taxis regularly depart from Thongsala to Haad Rin.

If coming from Koh Samui there is a ferry service from Big Buddha Pier which arrives directly at the Haad Rin Pier. From there it is possible to take a short walk along the beach or take a 5 minute taxi ride to Best Western Phangan Buri Resort.
